Make the file fit the physical experience.
A print brings the mosaic into a specific size and viewing distance. Calculate pixel dimensions from the intended physical output and the printer’s requirements, then work out how large each tile will be. More columns can strengthen the target while making the individual photographs too small to explore comfortably.
Ask the print provider about format, color handling, bleed, and safe areas. Test a representative section at its intended physical scale and inspect the exact delivery file, not a screenshot or an earlier proof.
